Biography:
Dr Dejan Nešić, is the full professor at the Institute of Medical physiology of the Faculty of Medicine in Belgrade. He is the head of the Neuroendocrinology Laboratory at the Institute of Medical Physiology. He has graduated in 1999 at the Faculty of Medicine in Belgrade, received his Master's degree in 2004 and defended his Doctorate theses in 2010 becoming a PhD in medicine. He completed his specialization in Physical medicine and rehabilitation in 2005, completed his specialization in the Nutrition of healthy and ill people in 2011, and completed his specialization in Pain medicine in 2015 at the Faculty of Medicine in Belgrade. He completed his Master of academic studies in Management in health care system in 2012 at the Faculty of Medicine and Faculty of Organizational Sciences at the University of Belgrade, while he completed his Master of academic studies in Physical activity, health and exercise therapy in 2017. Since 2018 he has been the Head of teaching courses of Medical Physiology in English and since 2018 he has been the Head of the Department of Specialization in Pain medicine at the Faculty of Medicine in Belgrade. From 01.10.2024. is the vice dean for KME and accreditation at the Faculty of Medicine in Belgrade.
